Before installing more than 350,000 square feet of nora flooring in five recent school construction projects in Boone County, Assistant Superintendent of Operations Michael Hibbett identified a number of performance requirements for the flooring. He wanted to eliminate wax, and all that goes with it, from the maintenance regimen to save money and develop a healthy environment. With more than 1,500 students in the five schools, he also wanted flooring that would hold up to heavy foot traffic and help dampen noise. In the end, Hibbett chose nora for classrooms, corridors, cafeterias and other areas of the five schools. Pleased with the look and performance of the flooring, Hibbett says he will continue to specify nora products in the work that is done throughout the County.
