norament® stairtreads combine stair nosing, riser, and tread in a single unit. They are specifically designed for straight stairs with right-angled edges and are suitable for stairways in the health and education sectors as well as in blocks of flats, public buildings and industrial areas.
The pre-formed stair coverings are available in four designs and three different widths. They can also be equipped with additional signal or safety stripes.

norament® stairtreads also be equipped with additional signal or safety stripes in various widths, colours, and slip resistance ratings. The advantage of these stripes is that rather than being stuck on, they are integrated into the covering and lie flush with the adjacent areas.
Stair designs with stair nosings
nora® floor coverings provide an impressive feature not just for a wide range of rooms, but for a variety of stairways too. They are available in many designs and colours. The coverings are cut to fit the stairs and installed with a suitable stair nosing to ensure a safe, aesthetically pleasing design. They are available for both straight and spiral stairways.

As well as stair angles for smooth connections between right-angled stairs and both the wall and banister side, our portfolio contains suitable adjoining skirtings and stringers for landings and ramps. The stair margin offers the opportunity to create side margins for the wall and banister sides as well as continuous margin designs in rooms and corridors.
Installation
We recommend nora® stepfix 240, a double-sided, full-surface adhesive installation tape for fixing norament® stairtreads, stairway installations with nora® floor coverings, and nora® stair margins.
