C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital on the University of Michigan Health System campus is a 1.1 million-square-foot facility nationally recognized for its excellence in clinical services, research and education. Each floor of the new building features a custom design that greets visitors the moment they exit the elevator, thanks to eye-catching patterns created with noraplan environcare.
During the early planning stages, the hospital considered several rubber flooring options, with long-term maintenance requirements, durability, LEED® contributions and range of color options all part of the discussion. Because the environmental services department wanted a no-wax solution for their new facility, the hospital tested nora flooring in their old building.
