Chemically resistant laboratory flooring solutions

Laboratory flooring must meet strict requirements. Depending on the intended use, these requirements may include hygiene, ergonomics, electrostatic conductivity and dissipation and chemical resistance. The flooring system must satisfy demands in the working environment while simultaneously conforming with the overall architectural design.

nora® rubber flooring is an attractive means of meeting these demands. The flooring is largely chemically resistant and also resistant to common disinfecting agents. Short-term contact with solvents, alkali solutions and acids has no effect on the flooring. Optically, our laboratory flooring solutions offer practically limitless design potential, so you can implement even ambitious design ideas.

These days, installing workplace flooring means taking ergonomics into account. nora® rubber flooring is elastic and therefore particularly easy on the back and joints. It is comfortable to walk and stand on even during a long work day, preventing the body from tiring as easily as it would on hard floors.

Attractive designs, implemented simply and flexibly

nora® rubber flooring offers entirely new options for creating attractive, well-designed laboratory environments. Identically designed flooring options allow for cross-functional designs encompassing both laboratory flooring solutions and flooring in other areas, such as offices and hallways. Architects and designers thus have access to practically limitless possibilities for unique design schemes. Our high quality flooring also meets complex technical and hygiene requirements.

Simple to clean and maintain

nora® rubber flooring has a dense surface, so maintaining a hygienic, clean laboratory is simple. The flooring is also resistant to the surface disinfectants approved by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) and the Disinfectant Commission at the German Association for Applied Hygiene (Verbund für Angewandte Hygiene, VAH). But high hygiene standards can be maintained even without the use of aggressive cleaning agents, a particularly useful property for laboratory flooring solutions and clinical environments.
