(Feb. 27, 2013) – Andreas Mueller, president and CEO of nora systems, Inc., North America, has been named a managing director of German-based nora systems GmbH, global market leader for rubber floor coverings and floor covering systems.
In his new position on nora’s board of directors, Mr. Mueller will provide leadership for the company along with Director Christa Hoffmann. Mr. Mueller’s responsibilities include sales, marketing and technical activities worldwide. In addition, he will retain his current leadership position with nora’s North American operations.
Mr. Mueller joined nora North America in 1996 as a key account manager. Since then, he has held various positions with the company, including national market segment manager and vice president of sales, before being named president and CEO in 2009.
“I look forward to applying my experiences in North America, Mexico and Germany to the broader global challenges facing our company,” said Mr. Mueller. “I’m confident in our ability to expand our footprint in existing markets around the world while seizing growth opportunities in a number of emerging markets.”
