norament® satura provides flexible palette of neutrals and saturated accent colors

satura features a flexible color palette that includes a subtle array of neutrals and saturated accent colors in a tone-on-tone design. Developed with the help of architects and designers, satura reflects their desire for a color palette that provides crisp, sophisticated neutrals and complementary accent colors that combine easily with a variety of finish materials used throughout a building, from the emergency room to the classroom.

nora invited a diverse team of architects and designers from across North America to work together in a collaborative product development process. In a series of workshops, the design professionals openly exchanged ideas about the new floor covering’s design and color palette.

“We all agreed that having a strong palette of neutrals, complemented with trend colors, was the way to go,“ said workshop participant Amy Gilkey, associate, HKS, Inc., Richmond, VA. “nora was definitely responsive to our input. Looking at the final product, it is in line with the ideas that came from designers at the workshop.“

Erin Anderson, of SMRT – Architects and Engineers, Portland, ME and Andover, MA, agreed. “I think everyone was on the same page – that we needed a really nice, robust bank of neutrals to work with.“

Responding to images of the final product, she remarked, “nora was very responsive. I didn’t see a lot of deviations from what we had decided.. The palette will create a seamless design throughout a facility..“

Featuring a hammerblow surface and granule effect, norament satura complements norament grano, as well as noraplan environcare™ and noraplan® sentica. The floor’s tough, slip-resistant surface enhances comfort, eases maintenance and reduces noise, making it ideal for healthcare environments as well as education, life sciences and other outcome-driven environments.

norament satura is available in 3.5mm tiles and is GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified and GREENGUARD Children and SchoolsSM Certified. The floor covering is also available as stairtreads. For more information about norament satura, please visit www.nora.com/us/satura-launch
