Dilijan College, Armenia, is the 13th member of the United World Colleges (UWC) group. The architectural brief taken on by UK architects practice Tim Flynn Architects was to design an international boarding school for 600 pupils.
The key criteria in materials choice was durability, quality, choice of colours and service. Several thousand square metres of both noraplan® sheet and norament® tiles and accessories were installed all over the college and boarding houses including stunning inlays in the showpiece atrium area. The result was a state of the art learning space. All products were installed using ‘nora system blue’ not only because of its unique low VOC’s, but also to ensure the best possible finish, but also for the 25 years extended warranty and clients peace of mind.
Due to the dense vulcanised surface of nora® rubber flooring, nora® are able to offer products which have very low abrasion, exceptional wear resistance, and do not need any coatings throughout their lifetime.
